Personal Essentials Kit Assembly

Saturday, November 7th from 10:00am to Sunday, November 8th, 2026 3:00pm

About

Help provide dignity, comfort, and care to neighbors facing challenging circumstances! Volunteers will assemble personal essentials kits filled with a thoughtful assortment of hygiene, first-aid, and everyday self-care items, including toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, hand sanitizer, lip balm, nail care supplies, and other practical necessities.

Completed kits will be distributed through five of our nonprofit partners: Food For Thought Denver, Denver Children's Advocacy Center, MotherWise, The Delores Project, and The HOPE Center. These simple but important items help children, families, and individuals meet everyday needs, maintain personal hygiene, and feel cared for and supported by their community.

Food For Thought Denver

Food For Thought Denver helps fight childhood hunger by providing nutritious food to students and their families who may otherwise go without meals over the weekend. Through its volunteer-powered programs, the organization helps ensure children have access to food when school meals are unavailable.

Denver Children's Advocacy Center

Denver Children's Advocacy Center provides a safe, supportive environment for children who have experienced abuse, neglect, or other trauma. Through specialized counseling, family support, and prevention programs, the organization helps children heal and families move forward.

MotherWise

MotherWise supports pregnant women, new mothers, and families through free education, individual coaching, and practical resources. Its programs help parents build healthy relationships, develop parenting skills, and create strong, stable foundations for their children.

The Delores Project

The Delores Project provides emergency shelter, supportive housing, and essential services to women, transgender, and nonbinary individuals experiencing homelessness. Its programs offer safety, dignity, and the resources needed to move toward greater stability and independence.

Adams County School District 14 | HOPE Family Resource Center

The HOPE Family Resource Center supports students and families in Commerce City who are experiencing financial hardship, housing instability, or other challenges. The center provides food, clothing, hygiene supplies, school essentials, and connections to critical community resources, helping families meet their basic needs and build stability.
